DESCRIPTION: DIAS lecture [nl] [nl]\n\nAbstract [nl]\nThe s
trong force is one of the four fundamental forces in nature and\, as the
name suggests\, is the strongest of all four interactions and responsible
for more than 99% of the mass surrounding us. Shortly after the big bang
\, the universe was in a very hot and dense state\, which cooled down due
to its rapid expansion. As a consequence\, the whole universe cooled dow
n from a Quark-Gluon Plasma (where quarks and gluons are quasi-free) to t
he Hadronic phase (where quarks are bound into protons and neutrons). Und
erstanding this transition will help us understand the early time of the
universe. It further guides and complements the extensive search in heavy
-ion collision experiments all over the world.\n [nl] [nl]\n\n This le
cture takes place at the DIAS seminarroom [nl] [nl]\nWe hope to see y
ou alle there [nl] [nl]
