DESCRIPTION:A panel game curated by Søren Askegaard featuring Karl Atta
rd\, Maria Timofeeva\, Pat Treusch\, and Joel Cox\n\nJoin us for a Wi
ld Wednesday that promises both depth and delight\, as we dive into the p
layful yet profound world of radical transdisciplinarity- and explore wha
t happens when human insight meets artificial intelligence.\n\nWe’ll begi
n with a brief introduction to Edgar Morin\, Dr.h.c. at Odense University
(1994)\, a passionate critic of disciplinary silos and affectionately kn
own in French social theory as “the unclassifiable.” Morin’s work challen
ges conventional boundaries\, and this evening we take up that challenge.
\n\nOur transdisciplinary panel has read Morin’s evocative text “The Spir
it of the Valley"\, a piece rich with Taoist undertones\, and responded b
y co-creating an AI-generated poem. This poetic experiment explores the c
onnections\, contrasts\, and resonances between their own fields and Mori
n’s ideas.\n\nFrom this creative starting point\, we invite you to reflec
t with us:\n
\n
What are the possibilities and pitfalls of transdi
sciplinary thinking?\n
How does AI help - or hinder- our efforts to thi
nk beyond boundaries?\n
\nExpect lively conversation\, unexpected i
nsights\, and a celebration of curiosity across disciplines.\n\nThis W
ild Wednesday is open for all and requires no registration.
