 nging in nature\, we are organising a morning community session to outlin
 e different dimensions of these hybrid threats and talk about what kinds 
 of solutions\, knowledge\, and expertise the DIAS and SDU community has t
 o address them. The event builds off a monitoring exercise and a white pa

  and forward looking event\, where DIAS Chair Ingvild Bode will give a sh
 ort introduction\, followed by a panel discussion with DIAS Chair Claes d
 e Vreese\, DIAS Chair Fabrizio Montesi\, and a colleague (tbd) from Law.\

 ld Bode\n\nIngvild Bode is a Professor of International Politics at the U
 niversity of Southern Denmark\, where she is also Director of the Center 
 for War Studies. Her research examines how applications of AI in the mili
 tary domain change international norms\, especially on the use-of-force. 
 She has published extensively in these areas\, including in journals such
  as the European Journal of International Relations\, Review of Internati
 onal Studies\, Nature Machine Intelligence\, and Ethics and Information T
 echnology. Professor Bode leads large-scale research projects in this spa
 ce\, including the ERC-funded AutoNorms project and the Independent Resea
 rch Council Denmark-funded HuMach project. She also serves as an academic
  ambassador of the Lawful by Design Initiative led by Article 36 Legal.\n
 \n\nAbout Claes de Vreese\n[b]Claes de Vreese[/b] is Director of the Digi
 tal Democracy Centre at SDU\, Distinguished University Professor of Artif
 icial Intelligence and Society\, and Chair of Political Communication at 
 the University of Amsterdam.\nA leading scholar in political communicatio
 n and digital democracy\, his research focuses on the impact of technolog
 y\, AI\, journalism\, and information on democratic processes and public 
 opinion. He is a former President of the International Communication Asso
 ciation (ICA)\, a member of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences (KNAW)\, 
 and has received numerous major research grants\, including an ERC Consol
 idator Grant. His work has been cited more than 45\,000 times.\nAbout Fab
 rizio Montesi\n\nFabrizio Montesi is Professor of Computer Science at the
  University of Southern Denmark\, where he leads the Section of Artificia
 l Intelligence\, Cybersecurity and Programming Languages. He is known for
  pioneering Choreographic Programming and co-creating the programming lan
 guage Jolie. His research focuses on programming technologies and mathema
 tical methods for complex distributed systems. His work has been recognis
 ed with numerous awards and major grants\, including an ERC Consolidator 
 Grant and a Villum Young Investigator Grant.
