DESCRIPTION:Speaker: Franziska Porkert (University of Bonn)\n\nA
bstract:\nFeynman integrals are fundamental to multi-loop scattering
amplitudes and exhibit interesting connections to various areas of mathe
matics. For instance\, beyond one loop\, many Feynman integrals are assoc
iated with (hyper)-elliptic curves or Calabi-Yau surfaces. In this talk\,
I will provide a brief overview of (hyper)-elliptic Feynman integrals\,
illustrated with specific examples\, specifically highlighting ongoing wo
rk on solving a family of Feynman integrals related to a genus-two curve.
